Cornfest starts & vegetarian cooking lessons

The Cornfest opens today! The 36th annual Tecumseh Corn Festival is a widely celebrated four-day agricultural festival, featuring fantastic traditional events such as live entertainment, midway rides, the Vendor Village, the Miss Tecumseh Pageant, a parade, and delicious hot buttered corn on the cob. Headlining on Saturday is Our Lady Peace with special guests Whale Tooth, and Tecumseh’s own Project Foo opening up.

Eating less meat is good way to improve your health. Learn how to incorporate more greens into your diet! A vegetarian cooking class will take place in the basement hall of Leamington Seventh-Day Adventist Church from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. tonight. The cost is just $5.
