Chatham Salvation Army looking for fresh food

August 9th, 2011

Jamie McGrail sends us this:

As the summer passes along and we go about enjoying the beautiful weather we sometimes forget about those individuals that are less fortunate then ourselves.  Yesterday I received a phone call from the Salvation Army wondering if I could put a call out to local farmers for local produce.  The Salvation Army is in desperate need of food products to share around to the different community outlets.  This food will not just stay in Chatham but will be spread throughout Chatham-Kent.

If you have some produce to spare and would like to donate to the Salvation Army, please call Rhonda Dickson at 519-354-1430 to make arrangements for drop off.  If dropping off is the issue, please call myself, Jamie McGrail at 519-360-0078 and I will pickup.
